UPECA Engineering achieved ISO 9001:1994 certification from Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI).
Purchased its first 5-axis CNC Machining Centre and supported by 2 seats of Unigraphics CAD/CAM system, strengthening UPECA’s capability to produce profile / complex industrial & aerospace components.

UPECA Engineering obtained approval from BAE System on its quality management system.
2002
UPECA Automation System relocated to new factory (13,702 sq ft).
UPECA Engineering received Enterprise-50 Awards from SMI Development Corporation.
2003
Approval by Airbus UK Ltd on UPECA Engineering's quality management system
Set-up UPECA Valve Automation in Bangi, Malaysia (16,000 sq ft)
UPECA Engineering upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 certificate from Bureau Veritas Quality International.
UPECA Engineering received "Caring Employer" award from the Ministry of Human Resource.
Set-up regional plant UPECA Engineering (Tianjin) in China (15,000 sq ft)

Set-up UPECA Aerotech in Puchong , Malaysia (14,000 sq ft) as a fully dedicated manufacturing plant for Aerospace components. Invested in the latest high tech CNC machines and inspection equipment.
SUPREME Precision Manufacturing, Thailand operations achieved ISO 9001:2000 certificate from TÜV
UPECA Engineering (Tianjin), China, achieved ISO 9001:2000 certificate from Bureau Veritas Quality International.
2006
Launched the UPECA Group Balance Scorecard
UPECA Engineering converted ISO 9001:2000 certification to DQS
Tie-up with Terengganu Advance Training Institute (TATI) for joint development of the CNC machining diploma programme & graduate placement programmes.
UPECA Valve Automation, Malaysia achieved DQS - DIN EN ISO 9001:2000
UPECA Aerotech formed Strategic Partnership with Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing (SAM) to offer precision manufacturing service. This creates significant growth opportunity for UPECA Aerotech in becoming a key Asian player in the aerospace industry.

2007
UPECA Engineering awarded "Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industry 2006" by Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia.
UPECA Engineering and Aerotech achieved AS/EN-9100 as certified approved supplier for Manufacturing of Precision Engineering & Aircraft Components.
In simultaneously progressive growth and development, UPECA Aerotech began to extend its shopfloor to another plant, sited on 14,000 sq ft.
UPECA Valve Automation and UPECA Engineering Tianjin have been awarded the Best Supplier Performance award for year 2006 by Sherman to recognise our achievement in meeting their corporate requirements. The award was presented to our CEO, Simon Yew, in a formal ceremony held in Sherman, U.S, along with a certificate of achievement.
